Reonic today launched AI chat and AI agents inside its platform for renewable energy installers. It is the first time solar and heat pump installers have had access to AI tooling built specifically for their work, rather than generic assistants bolted onto disconnected software.
Halfway through the digital shift
Installers are in the middle of a digital and AI shift, and most are caught halfway through it. Some have adopted digital tools, but those tools don't talk to each other. Others have connected tools that still can't reason about the work. Reonic closes both gaps. It brings CRM, planning, design, and simulation together with project management, offer creation, and analytics in a single platform, then adds intelligence on top.
AI chat and AI agents
That intelligence arrives in two forms. The first is an AI chat that knows all of an installer's data, so a question about any customer, project, or number gets answered from the company's own records. The second is AI agents that understand the full context of a project and can act on it. An agent can plan a complete energy system, heat pump, storage, solar, and EV charging together, drawing on the projects a company has already planned. Technical expertise is built into the underlying models and the workflows themselves, so installers get sound engineering decisions without starting from a blank page each time.
Reonic shipped AI features that actually help. One click, and a project is validated against all our company guidelines.

For smaller installers, the time saved adds up quickly.
This replaces at least one part-time employee for me who just keeps track of projects and collects data from the rest of my staff. It's fabulous.

Why it matters
The goal behind the launch is to get more renewable energy installed, and to help installers lead their market. With Reonic, a company has a software provider working to help it produce as many offers as possible, as quickly as possible, and as good as possible.
AI chat and AI agents are available to Reonic customers in the United Kingdom and Germany from 22 June 2026.
